Fall Issue of SWE Magazine

Members should be receiving the Fall issue of the SWE magazine in the mail shortly. I haven't had a chance to read it all yet, but found the letter from our new President very interesting and am really looking forward to the Alternative Fuels article. Betty Shanahan's monthly piece points to some really interesting research on how we frame engineering careers for students and how we can change our image to make engineering a more attractive career. Also, I have a Career Toolbox piece published in this one and you can view it online here. It's targeted at the collegiate level and based on my own experience.

I think the magazine is a big benefit of SWE membership. If you have time to read it, I think you'll find it is at the top tier of technical society magazines.
